WHAT THE RESEARCH SHOWS
A comprehensive 2015 review published in BioMed Research International found that GHK-Cu stimulates synthesis of collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans in the skin; tightens loose skin; improves elasticity and firmness; and helps reduce the visible appearance of fine lines and photodamage. Acetyl Octapeptide-3 · INCI: Acetyl Octapeptide-3SNAP-8® (Acetyl Octapeptide-3) is a synthetic octapeptide engineered to mimic the N-terminal end of SNAP-25, a protein central to the formation of the SNARE complex—the molecular mechanism that triggers neuromuscular contraction. By acting as a competitive inhibitor of this process, SNAP-8® moderates the magnitude of muscle contraction at the site of application, helping expression lines appear softer over time.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 functions as a matrikine—a collagen-derived fragment that signals fibroblasts to increase collagen production. WHAT THE RESEARCH SHOWS
A double-blind, vehicle-controlled clinical study on 49 women conducted by Sederma and presented at the 2002 World Congress of Dermatology in Paris found that twice-daily application over four months produced a 27% reduction in wrinkle depth, a 36% reduction in wrinkle volume, and a 13% reduction in skin roughness.
